Please note: Our auction is located in the Reno/Sparks area. If you are unable to physically pick up the winning vehicle or afford a tow fee, you will need to make other arrangements to pick up vehicle. You will have until Friday after the auction to retrieve vehicle. After the 7th day, storage will start accruing at $20.00 per day until vehicle is picked up General Auction Information for online bidding Please note the information below is general and subject to change between auctions. Finalized Terms & Conditions will be issued upon registration for each auction. We conduct auctions monthly. You may either bid online through this website or at our physical location at 1408 Pittman Ave Sparks, NV. 89431. Bidding can begin online on the Monday before the auction by 10:00 AM PST. Live auction will be on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Previewing of the vehicles will be at 8:00 am and the auction starts at 8:30 am. Live bid amounts will be added to the online bids during auction. There will be no "soft close" time so be sure to get your MAX bids in. Max bids will be accepted on all vehicles until 8:30 am on the day of the auction. Cal-Nevada Towing may extend the length of the bidding window as it sees fit. Bids will be accepted online or in person during the auction. Bidding increments are $15.00. Please give us your maximum bid. If other bids received for the same vehicle, Cal-Nevada Towing will bid up the vehicle for you, on your behalf, in $15.00 increments, until a highest bid is obtained. If there are two or more identical maximum bids for the same vehicle, we will accept the first bid received. Utilize our maximum bid acceptance to ensure you get the vehicle you want. Registration: 1. Select the auction you wish to participate in. 2. Create an account by clicking on "Login / New Bidder" or the "Register to Bid" button. The user name and password that is created can be used for all future Cal-Nevada Towing online auctions. The information you provide in your online account will be printed on your Nevada title. If you want to have vehicle titled differently than your registration, please contact our office. We are unable to correct the information once the title has been processed. The Nevada DMV will mail the titles. Placing a bid: 1. Once registered, select the vehicle you wish to place a bid on. You may click the "Bid (amount here)" button for a one time bid, or enter your "Maximum Auto Bid" by selecting the vehicle and physically typing in the highest you are willing to bid for the vehicle. When placing your "Maximum Auto Bid" the website will bid on your behalf up to the amount you enter by the preset bid increment of $15. High bidder will only pay $15 more than the last highest bid. Please refer to "Terms and Conditions" for detailed auction Terms of Service for online bidding. If you attend the live auction, a separate Terms and Conditions document will be provided for your review and agreement. What to expect once the auction closes: 1. Once all items in the auction close, you can see the bid amounts on the auction website to see if you've won. For each vehicle the bidder bids on, it will list "successful" or outbid". We will contact you regarding payment. We will also require copies of your ID and credit card. 2. Arrangements must be made after the auction for the vehicles to be moved off to its appropriate destination. Please make an appointment before coming to our physical location. Cal-Nevada Towing may reject any bid for any reason. If an error is made, Cal-Nevada Towing will attempt to resolve such error. Cal-Nevada Towing reserves the right to restart any online auction to the beginning when necessary.
