Auction pictures are available online at https://milnetowing.hibid.com/.   Maximum bids will be accepted from the phone and email vehicles until Friday, APRIL 9, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  In person bidding will commence at 10:00 AM on Saturday, APRIL 10, 2021.  Attendance will NOT be limited , and YOU MUST WEAR A MASK AND KEEP SOCIAL DISTANCE OR YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE AUCTION.   Bids will be accepted via the following methods:                   In Person                 Email:   auction@milnetowing.com                 Phone: 775-359-0106, ask for Christine   When placing a bid, please reference the vehicle lot number, vehicle make and model, your name, and maximum bid amount (in US Dollars).   The starting price for all vehicles is $250.00. Bidding increments are $50.00.  Please give us your maximum bid.  If other bids are received for the same vehicle, Milne Towing Services will bid up the vehicle for you, on your behalf, in $50.00 increments, until a highest bid is obtained.  If there are two or more identical maximum bids for the same vehicle, we will attempt to contact the bidders and ask for updated bids.  Otherwise, we will accept the first bid received.  Winners will be notified via email or phone.  Please do not call within minutes of the auction close time to “bid up” a vehicle.  Utilize our maximum bid acceptance to ensure you get the vehicle you want.   Vehicles must be paid for within seven days after the auction date (due Friday,APRIL 16, 2021).  Arrangements must be made before that time for the vehicle to be moved off property to its appropriate destination and the information for the new registered owner must be provided.   Nevada Titles will be processed as soon as possible by Nevada DMV, but please be aware that Milne Towing Services is not involved in the DMV process. A significant delay due to COVID and the recent DMV closures and relocations should be expected compared to the normal timeline.   Milne Towing Services may reject any bid for any reason. Milne Towing Services has the right to refuse the highest bid if it is significantly below its perceived market value and may do with the vehicle as it sees fit, including but not limited to holding for the next auction.  If an error is made, Milne Towing Services will attempt to resolve such error.  If that is not possible or feasible, Milne Towing Services will remove the vehicle from the auction and inform all appropriate people.   AS IS, WHERE IS:  Bidders are responsible for closely inspecting each lot/vehicle.  Buyer understands the he/she is buying the property entirely upon his/her own examination or opinion and should inspect the item carefully before bidding.  Each lot is sold “AS IS, WHERE IS” and with all faults and defects, at buyers risk.  Neither Milne, its employees, nor the auctioneer make any guarantee or warranty expressed or implied as to, but not limited to, conformity to any safety design, pollution standard, law, regulation, fitness for any particular purpose, authenticity, merchantability, age, year of manufacture, model, serial or other numbers, condition or mileage.   All sales are final, no refunds or returns.  The buyer shall pay all costs of any repairs, the loading and removal costs, and be responsible for any and all damages incurred as a result of loading and removal. Buyer is aware that any lot sold has the possibility of being categorized as a Salvage/Rebuilt/Total Loss vehicle according to the federal National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS), before or after the auction date, without prior notice or warning.  Milne makes every reasonable effort to maintain an updated vehicle title condition list prior to the auction date, but cannot be held responsible or liable for delays in processing by NMVTIS for salvage/rebuilt/total loss vehicle updates that occur after the publication of vehicle title condition list.  Due to the enormous variation in situations and paperwork requirements, Buyer should not invest money or resources into lot/vehicle until a NV state title is in hand.  Milne shall not be liable for lost money if a problem/delay occurs with Title issuance.  Milne reserves the right to bid on all vehicles and accept or reject any bid or refuse admittance to any bidder for any reason, at its sole discretion without notice.   PAYMENT:  CASH, DEBIT or CREDIT.  Local Sales Tax applies to all purchases, and all outstanding balances must be collected before vehicle is removed from the Milne property.  Milne has keys made for certain vehicles as it sees fit, the price for which is noted on the vehicle list.  Buyer is responsible for the cost of all taxes, fees and keys, if applicable.  Note that Buyer is usually purchasing Milne's lien on the vehicle and the lien packet is submitted to Nevada DMV for a Nevada Title within 30 days of the auction.  If there is a problem with lien paperwork Milne will assist with DMV.  If no title can be obtained, Milne's liability shall be limited to the actual purchase price of the vehicle, keys, fees, and taxes paid.   REMOVAL OF VEHICLES:  Buyer may remove their vehicle after full payment is made and after all required new vehicle owner information is submitted to Milne.  If the vehicle is placed on the street and remains stationary for 7 days, Milne will consider the vehicle abandoned and the auction sale cancelled.  Milne will move the vehicle back on the street and will re-sell the vehicle.   DEADLINES: Buyer has 5 business days (until Friday APRIL 16, 2021) to complete the following: (1) pay for their vehicle (2) provide all new vehicle owner information, and (3) remove vehicle from the property or arrange for a re-tow.  If any of those criteria are not met within the deadline, the auction vehicle sale will be cancelled.
